07:12 – In the same industry, there are lots of things that you can do. Most people don’t like to raise money. It happens to me that I like to raise money and I like meeting these investors because they have a really incredible story on how they become successful.
08:32 – Being an insurance agent for the last 16 years was definitely very helpful for having my own business.
12:19 – A lot of people don’t know that the value of commercial real estate is based on the income that is generated from the property. So the more you can raise those different items, the faster the appreciation goes.
15:35 – It’s really important to find the right location and not just the right property, says Stephanie.
17:06 – We are really laser focused on finding deals that give those numbers because they’re fantastics.
17:45 – I just love teaching people about these alternate types of investing vehicles, says Walter.
19:02 – Probably the thing that propelled me out of my job is dealing with these wealthy people and seeing how they handle their finances. And it is just like a bell going over my head to realize that I’ve been learning to do this totally the wrong way.
22:42 – I recommend to everybody to read this great book called “Killing Sacred Cows” by Garrett B. Gunderson. It’s kind of more a philosophical kind of book but it really dives into how the wealthy people think about their money.
24:57 – Can you do better? Then if you can, you can move these money regardless of what anyone tells you. You are in control of the money that you have.
