Ep 077: Inside the mind of a multi-millionaire | Rod Khleif
03:05 – Rod talks about two of his funny landlord/tenant stories. One was in Florida and the other was in Denver.
05:32 – The beautiful thing about real estate is that you can fix pretty much anything with a check, says Rod.
05:53 – Rod shares his story. He immigrated to the USA when he was six years old along with his mother and brother. They came from the Netherlands and ended up in Denver, Colorado.
06:32 – Despite the struggles he faced in his life, Rod knew that he wanted more.
07:05 – In his first year as a realtor, Rod made $8,000. His second year was $10,000 but in his third year he made over $100,000. In 2006, his net worth went up 17 million dollars.
08:28 – Rod talks about some of his strategies that he teaches during his live events and to his coaching students to help them propel and maximize and take advantage of the incredible opportunities in real estate.
10:35 – Write down your goals. Write down everything you can think of. Don’t limit yourself, says Rod.
12:10 – What Rod is describing is the fuel. The fuel to push through any fear that you have. The fuel to push through what is limiting your beliefs. The fuel to get uncomfortable. Most of us are too comfortable in our comfort zone, but nothing grows from that.
14:31 – Goals are important and they will drive you but they are not enough. You have to know why those goals are a must for you.
15:10 – Use emotion. Emotion is so powerful. Use it in your description of why you must have these things and why you must achieve these goals.
17:19 – Rod talks about why it is important to have a picture of your goals.
22:49 – Surround yourself with people who will hold you accountable and hold you to a higher standard without being fearful or resentful of your success.
27:53 – For the people that are flipping, doing smaller stuff, and doing Airbnb, if you want to go bigger I am your solution, says Rod.
30:07 – Achieved goals aren’t going to make you happy but you need them to propel you forward. We create happiness from our progress and growth. It is so important to celebrate whatever growth you are making.
30:33 – You should never achieve a big goal without having other goals lined up behind it.
33:00 – Success without giving back is not success. If you are only focused on yourself it’s not success, says Rod. You will get your success faster if you give back in some way.
