Ep 176: The #1 unfair (and legal) competitive advantage
6:02 – In order for us to become fearless investors and to go out there without any fear, we have to remove the idea of “they are able to do that because of this reason”.
06:39 – I believe that your reason, your why, and your work ethic are internal and they come from within. And they are very difficult for another person to teach it to you.
08:38 – I believe if you go through the 7 levels of why and you are not motivated enough then there just hasn’t been enough of a pain in your life that you either have had or are missing out on to ever get yourself into action.
12:44 – I believe that the number one way that you can get a competitive advantage in anyone in your industry is if you have a strong resource for education or a straight up mentor.
15:37 – An absolute must if you are going to make anything work is going to be work ethic, daily habits, and a good team.
18:37 – Collaboration is happening when you have value to bring. If you don’t have value to bring which comes from education and from doing it yourself or learning from someone else, then you don’t have the ability to collaborate.
19:01 – When it comes to your why and your work ethic, you cannot support your why without the knowledge of how to take the next step.
23:46 – Mindset is a training process. Training is best done with a mentor.
24:56 – Risk sounds like a scary word. Un-calculated risks, blind risks are absolutely scary. But taking calculated risks is absolutely one of the best ways to grow a business.
26:47 – Confidence is built by success. If you want to have self-confidence, we have to have more success which means we practice more often, learn the daily habits, and the mindset to practice properly.
