Ep 064: Find amazing tenants for your rentals | Cliff Hayden
03:25 – Cliff shares one of his best real estate stories. He had this one deal that turned into six houses.
05:13 – Cliff talks about his background and how he got into real estate investing. Cliff is a father of 5 kids and a full time real estate investor.
08:55 – Cliff shares the stresses he went through in the beginning of his real estate investing career that helped him create solutions. As he got older Cliff realized that money is a tool he says.
10:24 – Cliff shares the trials and adversities that brought him into the real estate business. Cliff did not want to be like his coworkers in construction that were old and broke down so he decided to do more and he tried real estate investing.
15:08 – Cliff talks about the first deal he did that made him want to do real estate investing full time. The biggest piece of advice he got from Mike is “If you find a deal, you’ll find the money.”

23:41 – The lesson Cliff learned was yes, you made a lot of money by working hard but what’s the point when you’re not around with your wife and kids and not enjoying your life. Cliff realized that his previous business system was consuming his life so he found a way to make a difference.

33:08 – The biggest headache with finding people is you have to be nice and civil even when, sometimes, you don’t want to says Cliff. The biggest mistake they made was putting people in a home that shouldn’t be there and a couple of months later they trash the place and move out.
35:44 – Cliff’s advice is when you are doing this business it is important that you have a vision of the long term goal you’re trying to achieve. You have to see yourself with your goals and focus on the long term money says Cliff.
37:21 – Cliff suggests that you get out of debt as fast as you can and have a plan for that. Cliff also suggests that you think of long term tax free investments. It’s a great idea for the people that are just starting out says Cliff.
