Ep 126: How Masterminds can accelerate your wealth | Brandon Straza
06:05 – You know you are in trouble when you’re the smartest guy in the room, right? That is when you stop growing.
08:47 – I just believe that if you surround yourself with good people and a good leader, unless you are ego-driven, you’ll say that you got there because you surrounded yourself with people who are smarter than you.
12:43 – Why I started Masterminds is because I was a part of a mastermind that helped me to see that vision of something.
14:30 – I saw something the other day, it was like average people exchange like conversations, it was above average people exchange methods, but like high level people exchange ideas. And that to me is what masterminds is, Kyle said.
15:30 – In terms of mentors, I think you have multiple mentors in your life.
16:51 – You need to be ready to provide either money or value back to your mentor or back to these people in your life if you expect to continue to get what you need in order for it to be a symbiotic relationship.
17:40 – My Mastermind is all about helping people to create a short term rentals business and how to automate and scale that business.
20:35 – Either way the goal is to get people results and answers to their questions as quickly as possible.
22:03 – You have to have a strong desire to get in, and you have to have your purpose and your reason.
27:06 – You need to realise that the reason you haven’t gone and got that mentor to join in mastermind is not because of money, it is just because you haven’t figured out how to get past your fear.
31:14 – Basically there’s 3 ways you can do airbnb. You can own it, you can arbitrage it, and co-hosting or managing a property.
37:45 – Make sure you are providing value to people and if people are going to give you advice and are going to take the time out of their day to mentor you, you actually do what they say. And if you do that, you’ll get a ton of value out of your mastermind.
