Ep 122: Frustrated corporate employee creates 7-figure success in real estate | Brandon Barnes
05:29 – Brandon always had this perfect idea and this perfect dream in his mind of climbing into the corporate ladder but his parents always wanted him to work with his hand and work with people.
06:39 – Brandon got fired in a company 2 weeks after getting married to his wife. He called his buddy that he met in Pittsburgh asking about real estate.
08:24 – Barnes didn’t see the struggles of the real estate investors in 2008. He just saw it like a good business to be in, and people were responsive.
12:42 – Brandon got his first deal under contract 6 weeks after joining in real estate investment.
14:21 – Tom Cole as a mentor helped Brandon a lot. He allows him to focus on specifically building rapport and letting himself shine through. And also having an abundance mindset and to be very personable.
21:35 – Focus on everything other than the deal. Have conversation, get to know them, letting them know about your background, and also focus on what you know is best.
24:21 – Have a level of confidence that you are going to get this deal done for them, says Brandon.
27:50 – Put a process and place for being able to send more offers because Brandon thinks that is the biggest KPI for us.
