17:41 – This is important to know because when you are doing deals, especially when it comes to flip, you are best off doing this when the market is going up. Not when the market is going steady or when the market is going down.

23:45 – First, Do deal, talk about it and repeat. When you talk to people what you’re doing, your goal is not only to tell them so they know how to help you and send deals your way. But also to teach them and show them what you’re doing to inspire them, so people will be attracted to what exactly you are doing.
26:02 – Second is build a strong team of contractor, sub-contractor, realtors, money lenders and all the people that you need to make a deal run seamlessly.
27:26 – Third, Market! Market! Market! You have to have your marketing figure it out. For me it was networking, and eventually creating a podcast and youtube channel.
29:05 – Fourth, become an expert in your market. Know your numbers! If you realise what I’ve taken you through here, I was confident with the offer that I gave to this owner/seller because I knew my numbers were going in.
29:42 – Lastly is get a mentor or a partner that knows more than you. Bring value to the table so that you don’t feel like you’re doing it alone. The most important part of the whole process is having someone that can help you get pass all of your learning curves.
