04:58 – Linying parents think she is crazy after she left her finance career for real estate investing.
05:37 – Her company has 2 different strategies. First is Direct Acquisition strategy and the second one is Syndication strategy. Direct acquisition is acquiring small multifamilies among the partners themselves. The Syndication strategy is acquiring larger apartment buildings and complexes.
09:29 – Craving for freedom and flexibility in life contributes to Linying to start her own company. Now she has the ability to control where the company is going and the culture she wanted to be.
