Ep 221: 5 things you must know before you start an AirBnB
01:08 – The first thing that you really want to make sure you know is that starting an Airbnb profile is super important.
01:28 – Now the thing about making a profile is you’re actually making a listing.
02:17 – Next up, do your market research. And the important thing about your market research is is it even legal.
03:36 – The next thing you need to know is how to get the property and the different ways that you can get the property so you can either own the property which is really straightforward right you buy it and then you list either the House or rooms on Airbnb.
03:43 – The next way is Airbnb arbitrage. You’ve probably heard me talk about it a lot on this channel but in case you haven’t you rent it. And then you sublease it on Airbnb while getting the permission from the landlord.
03:55 – The final way is co hosting and that is when you actually host for a landlord on Airbnb, they take full financial responsibility and you just manage the day to day operations of that Airbnb listing.
04:19 – Next up is your team. And I mean, it’s just so funny to me. People don’t even think about their team until they actually have their listing. That is not the way you want to go about it. Get your team from the beginning, make those calls, find the cleaners, find the handyman, find the interior designers, find your boots on the ground person that’s going to go to the properties. Start collecting that now.
05:19 – Two more things that I don’t want you to get started in Airbnb with until you know about the first one is marketing matters.
05:43 – The first way that you can easily make yourself different is with professional photos.
06:24 – There are a few things that you want to make sure you’re using to help eliminate all the clutter and time that you’re going to put into the day to day. Really there’s three tools that I would suggest using.
